But they’re still out there circulating and being presented to parents as if they’re ‘facts’. Sometimes by well-meaning friends or family, other times by ‘experts’ or professionals who are just not up to date with the latest evidence in sleep science, neuroscience or child development.
Quality information and guidance does exist, but it’s hidden among all the misinformation and so…

2 days before starting Georgina’s mini-course, it took me 2 hours to get my baby boy (5.5 months old) to sleep. This was followed by multiple wakes and a split night. I was broken. Before doing Georgina’s mini-course we were struggling with bedtime battles and frequent waking, pretty much every sleep cycle. We were exhausted, frustrated, irritable and there was friction between my husband and myself.
I’ve never been a militant routine person in my life but my days were literally all about the baby getting sleep from the second I opened my eyes.
However much I read about sleep training in its various different forms, I just couldn’t do it. The very thought made me anxious and I just knew it wasn’t right for me and my baby. I said to myself I’d rather go on like this for years than sleep train.
It’s early days, but after doing the mini-course I’ve made a few adjustments and my baby is mostly dropping off to sleep within 10 minutes at bedtime and wakes are shorter overall. Hey, I’m Georgina
And I’m here for pretty similar reasons to you… only I’m at the other end of the tunnel (where the light is!) now.
I know what it’s like to dread the nights and struggle through the days in a foggy haze…
When my little one was 9 months old, he started waking every sleep cycle at night. The sleep deprivation was so severe, I could barely function. It wasn’t long before I hit breaking point.
